After completing his degree at University of Nottingham Russell was featured in the July 2004 Architects Journal student showcase. Russell then worked in London and Hong Kong before continuing his studies at the University of Westminster. He graduated with a distinction for his “pulsating bioluminescence research centre” – a project exploring art, science, street-theatre, bio-mimicry and graffiti.
