Harriet is currently on her Part I placement year from the University of Edinburgh, where she will return in January 2009 to complete her studies. Harriet is interested in architecture at a domestic scale, and exploring the intricacies of people’s every day lives and the challenges this presents for design played a central role in her 3rd year final project on town housing in Edinburgh. An avid filmgoer and keen photographer, Harriet is particularly interested in the influence that architecture can have on both, with the architecture of film and set design being the topic of one of two seminar presentations that Harriet gave in her 3rd year.
